Kyle McInnes - Co-Founder, President

Kyle has been actively blogging (blackberrycool.com/quicklybored.com) and working in the mobile and web space for over 5 years. After university, he somehow ended up in Israel, working on his tan and a web portal for the Ministry of Foreign Trade. The following year he taught English to businessmen in South Korea. Since then, Kyle has been involved in several startups that develop BlackBerry themes and apps, and was once interviewed on national television for waiting over 24 hours in line for an iPhone. Dan Crawford - Co-Founder, CTO

With an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Ottawa, Dan brings more than 10 years of software experience to Pretzil. He has been working on mobile apps since 1996, when the first clamshell mobile phone launched and a BlackBerry was just a pager. Dan has worked in Corel's Java R&D team, Beduin Communications, ENXSuite, and spent 3 years at Sun working on seminal projects for Java-enabled devices. Suffice it to say, Dan knows mobile. Robert Watson - Web Team Lead

Robert graduated with the Suzanne Rivard-Le Moyne Award from the University of Ottawa's Bachelor of Fine Arts program, Concentration in New Media. Previously, he studied computer engineering in St Lawrence College's Advanced Software Development program where he also helped develop MATLAB tutorials for microelectronics courses. He has built an international network of clients and partners as a freelance developer, designer, and artist. Highlights include working with Sir Anthony Hopkins, Artengine Residency, Nikken University development, performances at the National Gallery of Canada and with the National Capital Commission (Winterlude rocks!), and, obviously, Pretzil! Matt Cameron - Community Manager

Matt has worked in the mobile games industry for about 2 years but his real creative juices flow when he does his VJ'ing sets for various bars and nightclubs around Ottawa. All in all, he has been cultivating a career as a video artist for about 5 years. He is entirely self-taught and really good at what he does. At Pretzil, Matt looks after the community and is working to build on Pretzil's implementation of funware. Having played almost every videogame ever made, Matt knows fun better than the dictionary. Advisors

John Criswick

John is a co-founder of Pretzil as well as a major investor. He has founded a variety of tech companies including Magmic and Rove, and had a successful exit when his company Beduin was sold to Sun Microsystems. John provides Pretzil with vision and strategy, as well as leadership.

Mike Foster

Mike has a history of executive product and business development roles with companies such as Mitel and Newbridge. He has raised millions in investment dollars in the semiconductor and computer software industries and has given Pretzil a great deal of guidance.

Mark Baker

Mark has had multiple Senior Engineer and CTO positions with companies such as RIM, Rove and Zepheira. Mark brings to Pretzil a wealth of experience with web architecture, REST, Internet scale distributed systems, wireless and Semantic Web.
